What is HASR?
HASR is a coalition of social service agencies and supports of social services in the Richardson Independent School District geographic area. HASR was founded in 1989 as a 501 (c) (3) organization by the Social Service Task Force of Leadership Richardson. We are governed by our member organizations. Full membership in HASR gives voting rights to those member organizations; associate membership is a non-voting membership. HASR’s Board consists of the elected officers.
HASR Purpose:
To improve the delivery of social services in Richardson in a non-profit, non-political forum for better communication, coordination, and cooperation among the service agencies serving RISD.
